COASTEERING & PADDLE BOARDING ADVENTURE DAY in East Lothian

If you love wild swimming and are drawn to the sea then this is the adventure day for you!
Take your wild swimming adventures up a notch with Coasteering and Paddle Boarding.
The day will be split evenly between the two activities.
When you are coasteering you will swim, scramble, climb over all the natural obstacles that the sea has to offer. You will also have the chance to get your adrenaline pumping as you build up to some deep water jumps.
During the Paddle Boarding session your guide will expertly lead you through the basics of paddle boarding enabling you to successfully develop your technique and water safety skills.
Paddle boarding is a fast sport to master the basics, so you will soon be up on your feet and experiencing the freedom of floating on water.
This adventure day will give you the opportunity to experience and learn all that the local marine environment has to offer both above and below the water by gliding on and swimming through the water!
Throughout the day we take the time to explore as a group the stunning scenery between North Berwick and Dunbar and the East Lothian coastline including Bass Rock, Tantallon Castle and Sea Cliff beach.
This adventure day is perfect for anyone that has a thirst for adventure. All ages are welcome however, a basic level of fitness and an ability to swim is required.

INCLUDED:
· Two water-based activities, 3 hours each – Coasteering & Paddle boarding.
· Lead by experienced & qualified Ocean Vertical Guides.
· All kit included.
• Tea, coffee and cake supplied and enjoyed at Ocean Vertical HQ.
· Toilet and changing facilities available at HQ.
• Optional pick up/drop off from Dunbar train station which has great links to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle.

Itinerary
9:15am
• Arrive at Ocean Vertical HQ or train station pick up
• Coffee/meet and greet
• Briefing from instructors and kit distribution
10:00 – 13:00
• First water-based activity
• Coasteering or Paddle Boarding depending on tides/weather
13:00 - 14:00
• Lunch break
• A chance to warm up by the fire at Ocean Vertical HQ
14:00 – 17:00
• Second water-based activity
• Coasteering or Paddle Boarding depending on tide/weather
17:00 – 17:30
• Time to get changed and hand back kit
• Reflect on the day’s activities with a glass of wine or tea/coffee and cake beside the fire before heading home or being taken back to the train station.

Full Day - 09:30 – 17:30
Time on water and rocks - 3 hours for each activity
Day activities may be rescheduled or refunded due to incremental weather conditions
